I don’t even need to write that much and you already know which one of your friends is the ultimate planner. She’s that girl that you have actually said she should have her own event planning company. She’ll be your go to girl for organising an unforgettable hen party weekend, be able to advise you on selecting items for the wedding and she’ll make sure everything that is involved in getting married goes off with a hitch.

This friend is often seen with a bluetooth device in her ear and holding a clip board that also has a phone on it. She’s on par with Monica from friends but we love her because she has your best interests at heart.

Funny Chick

Oh the funny chick will be needed. She’s that girl who will accidentally or purposely get you back in the room, calm you down or cool your mini-meltdown. She knows how to break a tense atmosphere with a joke, funny story or even just have a brain fart that gets everyone in the party laughing. I know you’ve been saying you won’t get worked up on the big day, but you will and the funny chick will be there to seemingly melt those worries away.

The Party Chick

You can always count on this one to get the party started and be the one who’s still partying as the sun comes up. You already know which of your friends falls under this category. Regardless if you are on the hen party night, the wedding night or just a regular Saturday night she’ll be the first on the dancefloor and will have you all out there shortly afterwards. The party chick is also the girl to quiz about songs for a hen party playlist and a wedding playlist. This girl always seems to have a bottle of prosecco in hand, in case you run out of some bubbly.

The Social Chick

This girl will take more photos on her phone over the course of the hen party weekend and wedding day that she should really be a professional photographer. She’ll be posting pictures of the hen party weekend and big day on Facebook and Instagram that will actually feel more like she’s giving live updates of the day. However, she’ll probably have more intimate moments on her camera that you’ll love. And even though you might get a bit annoyed when she’s asking to take pictures again you’ll be delighted to have a someone documenting the entire day. She will do this expression frequently but at least she knows what Instagram filters you love.

The Chill Chick

If this girl was anymore laid back she’d be asleep. She doesn’t care much for what dress she’s wearing and if this goes with that. She’ll do whatever is needed on the big day and for the hen party weekend. She won’t complain about anything and doesn’t do drama. She is actually the voice of reason. Having her around relaxes you and makes sure you have an unforgettable wedding and hen party that’s drama free.

Be honest we all day dream from time to time. At this moment in time in Ireland, any glimpse of the sun makes us slip into a trance of thinking about an actual warm sunny day in this country. It’s been cold, wet and miserable for far to long.

The same can be said for when you either start planning or book your Hen party. You start to day dream of how it will all go, who will be there, what you’ll do and so on. So this go me thinking, if money was no issue and we lived in the land of the make-believe. What would the Dream Hen Party look like for you?

I’m thinking that the dream hen party involves picking one of the world’s top party destinations, brilliant travel arrangements, high end accommodation, a list of A-list celeb friends, a celeb line up you’d like to bump into and of course who your celebrity stripper.

The Hen Party Group

Trying to decide who is going to come on a hen party can be tricky enough. Trying to make sure there’s a good dynamic and the buzz among the girls is all positive. Everyone you decide to bring will bring something special to this wild night. The 5 famous friends I’d invite would have to be Jennifer Lawrence because she looks like she knows how to party. Amy Schumer, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler because you’ll be guaranteed some laughs. Then for a sing song and some killer dance moves later in the night Beyonce and Taylor Swift would be coming.

Kim Kardashian would be no where near this hen party as she’d obviously just try to make it about herself.

The Destination

There is so many destinations to choose from, especially when you don’t have a budget on your dream Hen. You might fancy heading to New Orleans for Mardi Gras? Party on down Bourbon Street. Or maybe the glitz of LA or Florida my take your fancy stateside. There is always Las Vegas, which let’s be honest is probably most equipped to deal with a crazy hen party.

Travel

Damn girl, this the Dream Hen Party, we are flying wherever in our private jet. It will be fully stocked, with enough wine, prosecco and gin that would give an Irish wedding a run for its money. Obviously you wouldn’t be driving to the airport to catch your flight. The chartered helicopter will bring you and on arrival in your destination a blacked out limo will taken you to your accommodation.

Accommodation

Well this will be the easiest thing you’ll decide on, on your dream hen party. It might just have a different name in the location of your choice. It might be the High-Roller Suite, Presidential Suite or the penthouse suite, whatever it’s called it will come fully stocked and with it’s own personal masseur. You’ll need to unwind a small bit after a tough flight.

Celebs You’d Like To Bump In To

As you make your way throughout the hen party night you’ll probably be hoping that you’ll meet some revellers that will love to partake in your shenanigans. Imagine coming across someone like Kevin Hart, or even the Hemsworth Brothers who just want to party with your hen party for the night.

Celebrity Stripper

I asked around office for the answer to this one. The popular choice by everyone was Channing Tatum. That was mainly down to his exploits in the Magic Mike movies.

As with most types of parties from birthdays, 60th’s, stag and hen’s you’ll be inviting a big bunch of varying characters. Here are just some of the women you’ll find on a hen party. I’m pretty sure you know a couple of these.

Never Seen A Penis Woman

More than likely this woman is married with a couple of kids, so the idea she’s never seen a penis goes out the window. But ever since her little baby arrived she seems to have a different view. That or she’s plain oblivious to the sexual goings on of women her same age. The word Penis makes her gasp, and she won’t be caught dead drinking from a straw with a penis on it either. I’d be waiting eagerly for her reaction to the stripper. That alone should be worth going on the hen party alone.

Can’t Stop Taking Snaps Woman

We all know one. She’s the one that has the up to date images of your night out on Facebook and you tagged in them looking like you’ve been dragged through a ditch backwards. None of them got the seal of approval before being posted. Also she’ll be the girl with the endless Snapchat story that will have you tapping the screen violently. You’ll probably think you have a stress fracture after the amount of times you had to tap the screen.

The Spy

She’s also known as the future sister-in-law! She could be on the trip because the groom asked you to invite her and you were shocked when she actually sad yes. She clearly only said yes so she could report back to the mother-ship…The Mother-in-Law… about what you’re like on a night out, how drunk you were and if she is in fact the right woman for her darling little boy. Hopefully you do actually get on with her, which means it will be a great hen party, but just something to keep in mind. Just saying.

Little Miss Monica Geller

This could be invariably be the maid-of-honour or whoever organised the hen. She loves rules, loves planning and sticking to the plan and ensures every one has fun at the allotted times. She is the Monica from friends in your group. And if you think you don’t have one, purposely spill a drink in the bar, the first to clean it up is your girl. She won’t be able to resist the temptation.

The Diva

Her drink of choice is gin, she will bring up stupid arguments from the past, will say things like ‘I’m right aren’t I’ as she tries to make you see it her way. She is a ticking time bomb waiting for a sly comment that actually was never uttered, It was her inner monologue, before exploding into a fight with someone over nothing and you have to play peacekeeper.

The Slut

Let’s call a spade, a spade here. There is one in every group. On a hen party she’ll resemble a sex crazed lunatic set on cracking onto every guy she meets. She is also the one trying to persuade men to take of their shirt for the ‘hen’ and may at some point come back to the table holding a pair of ripped boxers. A memento of the night for the hen she’ll say. Not sure where or who she is, she’ll be at bar having shots and forgetting the order you sent her up with as she talks to a guy.

Get everyone on the hen party, family etc to write a small note on a card, saying what she means to her, about their friendship, best wishes or something for the big day. That Charming Fiancé Of Hers

Okay for the most part most men keep their feelings to themselves. A picture says a thousand words and all them are saying to the hen ‘cry’! I suggest getting actual photographs, not just you sitting there swiping right on you phone saying look at this. Spring is finally in full swing. We are beginning to see the stretch again in the evenings and those fresh mornings are starting to turn into glorious sunny days. All that’s left is for the temperature to star rising again and we’ll all be happy to walk home from the office with no jacket.

It’s about this time you’ll hear some of your co workers say “it’s too hot” or ” I couldn’t sleep last night, it was so stuffy”. Now, I can’t be the only one that feels their blood boil when they hear that. It wasn’t long ago where we were going to bed with 3 hot water bottles and a duvet with a tog value of 13.5 squared!

Now if you have any of these people coming on your hen party we have the perfect cure to cool them down. Serve them up a tall glass of Strawberry Lemonade Punch. This drink is both refreshing and tasty and will be a favourite with all those on the hen party. Regardless of the weather, it has to be said, this punch is always a favourite with hen parties.

You only need a handful of ingredients and it takes no more that five minutes to prepare.

Ingredients:

• 1 pack for frozen strawberries
• 1 or 2 cans of Club Lemon
• 1/2 cup of sugar
• 2 litre bottle of Sprite or 7up

Directions:

• Blend slightly thawed strawberries, sugar and club lemon until well blended.
• Poor into large bowl
• Slowly pour in the 2 litre bottle of sprite.
• Then either use a ladle to serve in glasses or transfer them into jam jars as a cool hen party idea

You can always add in your alcohol of choice here. We’d suggest either using Vodka or Rum. Add it in with the sprite. Then all you have left to do is sit back and enjoy.

Instead she fancied taking a pole dancing class.

She had no interest either in Archery or Paintball,

But wanted to learn how to make a cocktail called a High Ball.

After all Jen’s energy was spent,

She thought how badly the hen could have went.

She left all the organising in Hen Party Central’s control,

And all she had to do was turn up and be ready to Rock ‘n’ Roll.
